We cannot recommend Phoenix enough! We were privileged to have her travel to Northland, capturing both our engagement shoot and wedding day. From organizing to meet for coffee beforehand to joking around on the day of our wedding, it felt like Phoenix and her husband Adam were dear friends, making it even more special to have them a part of our big day. What initially drew me to Phoenix was the brightness and natural feel of her photos- there’s a candid beauty in every shot she takes. Me and my husband, Mike, were travelling to NZ for our honeymoon and really wanted to capture the moment and the beauty of NZ. Phoenix was an absolute delight, accommodating our travel routes, setting the mood, and even keeping an actual proposal from the bride! Ben and I really warmed up to Phoenix fast, and I really think it’s because of how calm and welcoming her presence was. Character aside, her professionalism really came through when she shot those proposal photos for us along Lindis Pass. She captured our emotions, and the entirety of our experience in NZ, and it was bliss captured in photos for us to look back on in the future. I can’t wait to see her again on our next visit to NZ! Phoenix went over and above to ensure our day was captured perfectly, and she couldn’t have done a better job! The photos she took are so special to us as a couple and to our family. She took extra care to get lovely ones of my dad who was unwell, and it means so much that we have so many of him on that happy day. Just the best photographer you could get!
